Hey guys

My name is Danny Kim and I like to document my journey with food.

This is the first episode of a new series called The Perfect Bite... and as much as I want to explain it to you, I feel like sharing the potential script to the official introduction would help explain it best so here it is:

[Food is a commodity… everybody eats… all in relatively similar times, but how we eat, is a completely different story… people from various different cultures, backgrounds, and understandings have their own way of eating, their own diet, and also their own preference in what they like to consume. With different types of food originating from various different cultures, it is hard to keep up and fully understand how to go about eating something properly, or making the most out of your bite. In this video series, I will be diving into different types of food from different cultures and bringing you insight and knowledge on how to eat something properly, just like the locals would as you can say…

For example… you walk into an Indian restaurant, not knowing what’s good or what’s not, what makes this indian restaurant considered a good restaurant or a bad one? Or you may wonder, what do I order to get the full Indian experience… how can I get the perfect bite?

This video series is made so you can come out a more knowledgable foodie, understanding various food cultures so you can make the most out of every bite. And maybe even educate your friends and family.]

In this episode I dive into Pork Belly (sam gyup sal) and Kimchi (fermented cabbage/radish, Korean style) and how you can make the perfect bite with this along with other key ingredients. Hope you enjoy!
